Essential Supplies

  • Extra Clothes: Please send a labeled change of clothes and a pair of shoes in a Ziplock bag for emergencies.

  • Napping Supplies: Send a crib sheet and blanket, which will be sent home weekly for washing.

  • Diapers: For children who are not yet potty trained, please provide diapers and wipes.

  • Lunch: Lunch is provided, but you’re welcome to send a meal if you’d like. We follow a low-sugar policy.

  • Clothing: Dress your child in comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes, preferably.

  • Comfort Item: We have a dedicated space for each child’s family photo and would love to include yours to help with transitions.

Lunch

At Hannah’s Happy House, we provide a nutritious, well-balanced lunch for every child at no additional cost. Our meals are thoughtfully prepared to support your child’s physical and social well-being, with a focus on healthy, balanced ingredients. We follow a “low sugar” policy to help promote positive behavior and overall wellness.
Parents are welcome to pack lunch for their child if they prefer. If you do send lunch, please use a clearly labeled lunchbox with your child’s name, and we encourage including a variety of foods from all major food groups. Any uneaten food will be sent home to help gauge portion sizes that best suit your child’s needs.

Snacks

Hannah’s Happy House provides snacks twice a day—once in the morning at 9:30 a.m. and again in the afternoon at 3:15 p.m. Each snack will include a combination of two food groups from the following options:
  • 1. Milk or dairy

  • 2. Fruit or vegetables

  • 3. Meat or protein substitute

  • 4. Bread or equivalent

Parents are welcome to pack a snack for their child, and we will make sure it is offered during snack time. If needed, the Happy House will supplement the snack to ensure it meets the nutritional guidelines mentioned above.

Potty Training

At Hannah's Happy House, we believe potty training is an important milestone, and we’re here to support you and your child every step of the way. Potty training starts when your child can communicate the need to go (having a name for urine and bowel movements) and shows discomfort with wet or soiled diapers.
We’ll provide gentle reminders and positive encouragement throughout the process. Once your child stays dry for two consecutive weeks, we’ll happily assist in their transition to underwear!
